I am in full support of the Ohsewken people in their right to reclaim the disputed territory in particular the Clan Mothers who took action ...enough of the talking coopted Chief & Council something had to be done, look north of you...the pipeline is going to go ahead without much resistance, if there is, where is it? Am ever thankful that the media is finally trying its best to show both sides of the issue but hey they need more work don't you think...over here in Saskatoon, we are in full support, some of the haudensaunee from your territory in Six live over here. We hope to show this support shortly and to boycott the nomination and appointment of Maurice Vellacott to Chair on issues for aboriginal people...what a joke...especially after all the stupid and ignorant things he has been quoted by media...shows how this country still has alot to learn...

My prayers are with you, stay strong, keep the faith, and know that your brothers & sisters around the country are watching and doing their own forms of support...kihtam, Darlene (Comment this)

2 - It saddens me that Aboriginal people's of this land are being misrepresented and exploited when it comes to land claims, It seems pretty clear to me that Six Nations did not suurender their land. I am in total support of the "people" of Six Nations, Stand strong & stay united.

In unity,

3 - It is truly historic event that the Confederacy are heading up the negotiations over this land dispute. They are the rightful inherent authority and voice of the Hodino:shoni that has been disempowered by implementation of the Indian Act election system. My thoughts and prayers are with the people there for a peaceful resolution to this dispute. There is a lot of bridging and awareness of historical events that needs to be done for understanding to take place, evidenced by the angry protest rally from the residents of Caledonia. It apparent that many Canadians do not have a full understanding of their history with relation to Indigenous people in North America. (Comment this)

5 - This is only one of fifty or more specific claims that Six Nations has registered with the federal government. If all were described as you have the Plank Road claim, it would be apparent that land was indeed stolen. There is no Order in Council for sale of crown land relating to Six Nations Lands in those years (I looked, not crown land), therefore the Indian Agent would have been acting in his trust relationship respecting those lands. Since the crown has refused to provide an accounting of the disposition of lands even though so ordered by the courts, they are not acting in good faith which is a duty owed in this trust relationship. Hence those specific claims have merit and should be described just as you have with Plank Road. This would provide substance to counteract those of other websites who view Indians in protest as TERRORISTS and advertise this on webpages. Just one thought.

7 - For far too long the First Nations peoples of Canada have been too passive concerning our inherent rights to the lands and resouces. We have sat around the tables and discussed and discused, one consultation after another consultation, one lawyer after another lawyer, defending justice. Because there is no justice given to the First Nations, then let it be known that the courts have begun to dispense a false justice to all other Canadians. The attainment of true justice in Canada, is not just a First Nations endeavor but an endeavour that all Canadians must support. The actions taken by Six Nations in Caledonia are needed and must be supported, not only by First Nations people but by all Canadians. The First Nations at Six Nations are battling against injustice for justice. The Developers in Caledonia have attempted to override the universal value of justice and have replaced it with the American value of free enterprise. There is nothing wrong with free enterprise, but there is something wrong when a materialistic value, such as free enterprise, is given precedence over the value of justice which brings about human dignity. (Comment this)

8 - Wachay to all my brothers and sisters around six nations and turtle Island. It's with sadness that I continue to see and observe the struggles that our people are still experiencing in this day and time... to even think that the Federal Gov, is sitting on their throne hoping that this dispute is going to end with out their support to the First Nations of this Land. I have seen too many struggles for our people in regards to land issues, equal opportunities, and recognition of our inherent rights from the land that was stolen and genocidely ripped from the palms of our hands...The neighboring town of Caledonia Residents should be ashamed of what they displayed on National TV...But I guess it's the true nature of our non-native brothers and sisiters emotions in play...the true idenity of their views on Native Land Issues are surfaced with hatrated...I fully support our First Nations brothers and sisters from the Siix Nations, in regards to their inherent rights to their land in question...My prayers are with you all...May the great spirit place the understanding to those who don't understand the importance of our people and our continous struggle for peace...All My Relations!

P.S. I like to leave a message for everyone to think about "Who is the real immagrants of this land". They should be reminded even grateful that we didn't push back their boat when they first landed in the year1492...Wachay. (Comment this)
