She:kon Sewakwe:kon (Greetings To You All)
How is everyone, my name is Adam Freeman and I wanted to create a blog for finding out what the people of Ohsweken think about what's going on down at the Reclamation Site. So I hope to hear from you and please feel free to make some posts.

I would like to commend the people that have been to the reclamation site over the past weeks. I would like to say nya:weh to the people that have and continue to stay on site. It is about time that this has happened...however it is upsetting to learn what some of the townspeople of Caledonia think of their 'neighbours'. (Comment this)
We are watching the activities from the Okanagan Valley here in British Columbia on the Westbank Indian Reserve and of course are in support of your actions.
Always proud of Six Nations, their spirit and integrity. The website is most helpful...we can stay updated from the true source.
We walk with you in spirit.

I am in support of all our brothers and sisters who are standing their ground at the site of the reclamation. Stay strong and keep the peace amongst you all.
The news coverage of the land reclamation seems to have concentrated on prejudice and discrimination. The extremely unfortunate comments made by the ' chief ' of haldimand council were unwarranted and unfounded. In all of the media coverage I have not seen nor heard of the chiefs of the six nations use such deflamatory language to describe people of haldimand county.
My opinion of the issue at hand is the governments of Canada have consistently and systematically ignored the Native people to a point where erosion of the core values of nation - to - nation negotiations can no longer work.
The United Nations gave Canada a failing grade in the condition that Native people live in, the poverty, lack of basic necessities and the overall poor quality of life that Native people are subjected to because of the governments blind eye and paternalistic attitudes.
Well that is all I have to say for now except to my brothers and sisters keep up the hard work and may the wind be at your back. (Comment this)

To all of you are making sacrifice to work with the utmost integrity to resolve the dispute with this colonial regime in Canada, my heart and prayers are with you. I visited the site last night and spent time with a few of the diligent and reliable Warriors. True to the nature of our perception and understanding of what we know Warriors to be, you are holding the integrity of the Ancestors. In the last few years when Elders and other spiritual people have made their way Home, I am reminded that I was told by them that they can help us all the time now instead of with the eartly limitations of our past relations. Keep their spirit alive in all you actions and you will shine with integrity. No colonial government wil be able to dimish your light! Remember we are now carrying the wirk of our Ancestors for them and for our Grandchildren, all the new faces to come. All the darkness in the world cannot blow out the light of one candle.
In the spirit of all my relations, blessings and continue to work in good faith with the medicines.
